How to enable an OCS 2007 user to login in office communicator 2005?

If you are creating a user in OCS 2007 FE, the user will be marked for enhance presence and the user wont be able to login to the office communicator 2005. Office communicator 2005 doesn't support enhance presence.

If you want an OCS 2007 user to login in the communicator 2005, do following:

Right click Pool => application properties => Client Version filter => uncheck "Enable version control"

Restart FE service, now if you create any OCS user, that wont have enhance presence enabled and it can login in the office communicator 2005.

If enhance presence has been enabled for any user, you can't disable it. you will have to recreate the user.
